It's time to meet 'Bessie' our mobile pizza kitchen
Our pizza kitchen on wheels is affectionately known in our family as ‘Bessie’ and has been with us from the very beginning. We can arrive at most venues with ease, and are fully self-contained with our own water and power to set up almost anywhere.

We specialise in 100% plant-based (vegan friendly) pizza with a range of dishes including more meaty, veggie, spicy and so on to cater for everyone (even the meat-lovers love our vegan meat-free alternatives).
A bare-bones renovation project from an original horse box
Bessie was a renovation project which took us nearly four years to complete. Originally a Rice Trailer dating back to the early 1960s, Bessie has had a total refurb from the chassis up, with extended members of the Emanuel family helping with the project along the way.
Our main objective was to make sure we sourced as much as we could locally and sustainably whilst also being as innovative as we could to captivate Bessie’s retro original chic. Structurally, Bessie is both welded and clad with reclaimed metals, as well as clad inside with a mix of locally upcycled timber and fixtures. She comes with an electric pizza oven to keep emissions low, low-powered LED lighting (in re-purposed light fittings), and a host of other things to make her the most eco-friendly pizza van possible.
